Gutierrez: “Texas must lead on solutions at the border.”
For Immediate Release: January 10, 2024
EAGLE PASS, TEXAS – Today, Roland Gutierrez’s Campaign for the U.S. Senate joined land owners, voters, and elected officials who are struggling with broken border policies as Republicans use communities along the border to further immigration antics.
“I’m down in Eagle Pass to talk to small business owners who nearly lost their farm because of the recklessness Ted Cruz and Republicans support at the border,” said Roland Gutierrez, State Senator that represents over 300 miles of the Texas Border and immigration attorney.
“Texas must be a leader on solutions at the border, instead we have Republicans who would rather put more effort into made-for-TV stunts than providing serious answers and policy on immigration. They are damaging the lives of people on both sides of the border.”
Gutierrez is making his fifth stop of a 25 day, more than 4,500 mile drive across Texas that will take him to over a dozen cities and towns. Roland Gutierrez visited LAREDO on Tuesday, and continues to DALLAS and PLANO for the weekend, speaking at a Dallas forum on Uvalde and gun violence, and meeting with local activists and elected officials about his campaign to fix the broken systems in Texas.
