North Texas State Representative Endorses U.S. Senate Candidate Roland Guiterrez

DALLAS, TEXAS – Today, State Representative Ana-Maria Ramos announces her endorsement of Roland Gutierrez for U.S. Senate against Ted Cruz. State Representative Ramos’ support follows the announcement of Tejano superstar and philanthropist Ramón Ayala.
“Roland Gutierrez is a true fighter. In a state that has been plagued by gun violence, his relentless pursuit of justice following the Uvalde tragedy is true leadership,” said State Representative Ana-María Ramos. “I am proud to endorse Roland Gutierrez for the United States Senate against Ted Cruz.”
The North Texas State Representative Ana-María Ramos served with Roland Gutierrez in the Texas House before he was elected to the Texas Senate. Together, they have fought for women’s rights, teacher pay raises, and standing up for common sense gun safety legislation.
“Ted Cruz hasn’t done a single thing for Uvalde. Continues to fail Texans by picking culture wars, and fails on infrastructure. Roland has fought for Uvalde families and victims, something Ted Cruz has never done,” said Representative Ramos.
In the aftermath, Roland was in Uvalde daily to fight for his constituents. In the months after, he fought for victim’s compensation to support families while they grieved for their children. And every day during the Texas Legislative session, Roland made sure no one ever forgot the tragedy in Uvalde.
